01.The deal

Using the site means you're fine with what's below. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the fix is easy: close the tab.

02.What this is

A free set of in-browser tools for opening and making archives. The work runs on your machine. No accounts, no upload step.

03.Don't be a jerk

Don't run files through here that you have no right to. Whatever you process is on you.

04.It's as-is

We try to make it work. We can't promise it'll handle every weird file correctly — archive formats are messy and some files in the wild are broken in interesting ways. Keep an original of anything you'd be sad to lose.

05.If something goes sideways

Whatever happens between you and your files, we're not on the hook. That covers the obvious stuff (lost data, missed deadlines) and the less obvious stuff (a downstream system rejecting a file we repacked).

06.Other people's stuff

Under the hood we use libarchive.js and zip.js (both open source — see their licenses). Ads come from Google AdSense and are governed by Google's policies.

07.If this page changes

If we change anything here, the date at the top moves. That's the only signal.
